Gallery Sushi

[Just a quick note before the real blog begins: In order to keep this fine blog running, we have decided to blog about our own individual experiences as well as when we go places together.]

Gallery Sushi is located at St. Patrick and Dundas, just one block west of Dundas and Uni. It's right by the AGO and OCAD as well. It's an over all nice place, with asain artworks on the wall and lanterns hanging from the ceiling.

Ok. Theeee best part about this restaurant is that it sells sushi ...TWO ROLLS of sushi for $5.50. They are a little smaller than what I have had at some sushi places, but not by far. The only other anal thing about it, is that you have to order it to go if you want to get that deal. So don't make the mistake that I did yesterday when I sat down first then tried to order them... cause the lady wouldn't let me. It's pretty good though when you want to pick up some lunch during one of my breaks in class. But, if you go and you choose sit, it is a peaceful place and it's nice to stay for a while and have a long chat with a friend... or drift off into space... whatever.

When you sit down the waitress comes and pours you a mug of green tea. The first time I went I took a sip and cringed cause it tasted muddier than usual. But yesterday when I went, it was really good, and I'm not really even a major green tea fan at all. I had like 2 refills. The lady just wouldn't stop refilling. Every time she saw it was empty, she came.

So anyways. The picture was taken yesterday, that's my friend Tamara in the picture. She ordered some fancy sushi meal, while I got the good ol' California Rolls. yum.
